Sacred Heart Chapel Wedding

Sacred Heart Chapel Wedding – Jacinda & Lee

I was chosen as Jacinda and Lee’s wedding photographer for their wedding on the 25th of October. They celebrated their wedding at the Sacred Heart College’s Chapel on Brighton rd and after visited a number of places for their bridal glamour photographs. Jacinda and Lee had some fun ideas for their bridal shoot after their ceremony at Sacred Heart chapel, including a visit to Chalker’s pool hall in Glenelg and using the water spurting fountain on the Glenelg foreshore for some dancing photos. The entire day was a very fun experience with all involved being very laid back and fun to be around. Everyone was very relaxed and eager to have some fun with the photos they were taking so I’d like to thank them for making my job so much easier. Jacinda and Lee took advantage of my flexible hour-based wedding coverage so I was only with them for 4 hours, shame because I was having fun. 🙂

Bridal Party Preparation

I started the day at Jacinda’s parent’s house where she was getting ready. Their house was an absolute peach of the house being photogenic in every direction I pointed my camera.

Sacred Heart Chapel Wedding Ceremony

The Sacred Heart chapel is an impressive piece of architecture, being built in 1924, it is dedicated to the memory of Old Collegians who lost their lives in the First World War. The campus of Sacred Heart college also embodies heritage structures located throughout the college, including the century old ‘Score Board’ and Memorial Entrance. Right next to the Sacred Heart chapel is the Paringa Hall, built in 1933. The building is defined as one of South Australia’s most outstanding late 19th-century family homes remaining upstanding. Designed by previous Mayor of Adelaide, Edmund William Wright, also noted for designing the Adelaide Town Hall and Adelaide’s Parliament House.

Chalker’s and Glenelg Bridal shoot

Chalker’s is a popular hangout for 8-ball and snooker lovers, based on Jetty rd and within walking distance to the bay, its a nice spot to have a casual game, or serious if that’s what you prefer.

Kooyonga Golf club

Jacinda and Lee’s reception was taking place at the Kooyonga golf club, based out by the Airport. Before my time was up we took a golf buggy tour of the greens and took a few more glamour shots. One or two are a bit of fun. 🙂

I’d like to thank Jacinda and Lee for having me be their wedding photographer at their beautiful Sacred Heart chapel wedding and I very much hope they enjoy their photos.
