Victoria and Rodney were wed behind the picturesque Belair Park Country Club building in a purpose build gazebo at the foot of the 18th hole of their golf course. The weather was perfect which was very lucky considering the week leading up to the day, but nonetheless it turned out to be fantastic. I was asked by their wedding planner to attend as their wedding photographer from the beginning of their wedding ceremony through to the end of their first dance, all on location at the Belair Park Country Club.
Before the wedding
As is usual, I arrived a little early for the wedding ceremony so I spent a little time snapping some shots of Rodney and their guests as they got ready for Victoria to arrive. Once she did arrive, it was lovely to see that they incorporated their fur babies into their wedding ceremony having their dog walk Victoria down the aisle. Was lovely 🙂
Belair Park Country Club Wedding Ceremony
Victoria and Rodney’s wedding ceremony was full of smiles and joy, partly due to the fun wind that popped up during the ceremony that was blowing Victoria’s veil about the place, but it was all in good fun and made the ceremony that much more light hearted.
The Belair Park Country Club offers a variety of settings to host wedding ceremonies, in the past two weddings I’ve covered at the venue, they’ve held a wedding on the lawned area next to the creek running past the car park, and also inside one of the reception halls as it was raining. For Victoria and Rodney’s case they opted to hold their ceremony under a little gazebo built at the foot of one of the fairways providing a lovely backdrop to the wedding.
Glamour Photos
After the wedding ceremony, and family photos we took a few photos together with the bridal party before heading off to the old Belair train station, and then the Belair National Park. So Victoria and Rodney had a nice mix of rustic old-world charm provided by the railway station, through to traditional Australian fauna in the background of their wedding photos.
Belair Park Country Club Wedding Reception
Victoria and Rodney opted to take advantage of the venue’s ‘Garden Room’ on the lower level of the complex. It’s the more intimate of the two reception halls available at the Belair Park Country Club and it caters for between 60-130 guests. One of the wonderful additions to their reception was the inclusion of not one, but two chocolate fondue fountains running all night, was delicious! 😀 During the night we went outside for a few night shots, only to be greeted by a cute little possum chilling in a nearby tree, just outside the front door of the complex. 😀
I’d like to thank Victoria and Rodney for having me as their wedding photographer and hope they enjoy their photos! 😀
