Newborn sessions take place at our home studio in Aberfoyle Park and move entirely at your baby’s pace.

04 / When should we book?

The first two weeks
are beautifully fleeting.

The first fortnight is ideal for classic sleepy newborn photographs, when babies are often most settled and naturally curled. It is worth booking before your due date, although arrival dates are unpredictable and we always keep the final timing flexible.

A feed before the session—or whenever your baby asks for one—usually helps. Nothing is rushed, and pauses are part of the experience rather than an interruption.

If the newborn window has already passed, the six-to-nine-month stage is another wonderful milestone, when babies begin sitting, moving and showing much more of their personality.
