It was another super sunny day for Sarah and Josh’s wedding in Silvestri’s Garden, located in historic Clarendon. I was asked to be their photographer for 3 hours, starting with the boy’s preparation in Morphett Vale, then the girls got ready in a room at the nearby Mick O’shea’s Motel before heading off to Silvestri’s in Clarendon.
Preparation
Josh shared the morning with his best man and father whom were all on site getting ready for the festivities that were to occur later at the house. Sarah and Josh were holding their ereception in their backyard which looked perfect for the small, intimate atmosphere their wedding day was all about! If Josh was feeling any nerves in the morning, he didn’t show it as he was fairly calm all morning.
The girls were being prepared in a room at the lovely Mick O’sheas pub and motel (my local 🙂 The pub is built in the style of traditional Irish pubs, complete with the wooden beams showing in the rooftops. While the room was fairly small for a wedding preparation, is was nice to walk around the gardens a bit for some photos 🙂
Silvestri’s Garden Wedding Ceremony
Silvestri’s Garden, of the Silvestri’s of Clarendon restaurant is located directly opposite the famed restaurant and makes for an elegant backdrop with it’s curated lawed garden, with imposing concrete structures lining the garden. The most imposing being a beautiful domed gazebo, perfect for signing the registry. As it was a very sunny day however, the location Josh and Sarah had chosen unfortunately did not allow all the guests to be sitting in the shade, but cant really complain on a day like they had!
Glamour Photos
After the usual family photos down on the lower terraces of lawn, we walked around the garden taking photos – never strayed too far away from that magnificent gazebo though!
I’d like to thank Sarah and Josh for having me as their wedding photographer, and I hope they enjoy their photos! 🙂
