It’s that time of year again! Time for the annual SvenStudios People’s choice photo contest! Each year as a bit of a thank you for all my previous year’s bridal couples I run a little contest whereby I ask each of my couples throughout the year to choose their favourite photo I took on their day and submit it for voting in the ‘SvenStudios photo of the year contest’. It’s a bit of fun where I’m able to learn about what others see in my photography, and also I’m able to produce a magnificent framed copy of their photo to the winner!

The way it works is that I’ve asked each of my bridal couples throughout 2018 to select their favourite individual image I took from their day and have the internet vote on all the favourite images to find out the people’s choice favourite image from the year. These are not necessarily my personal favourite images from the weddings I covered during the year, but are the couple’s favourites. Each selected image will be available on my website for voting from the general public from the 1st of February, 2019. Voting will be open until 12pm 2nd of March 2019, allowing for 1 month of voting, with the winner will be announced soon after. Simply for voting, each voter will go into the draw for a $100 cash prize.

The couple with the winning image will receive a large framed print of their photo worth up to $500!

You can click through to the voting page on the 1st of February in order to place your vote, but you can click through now to view the current entrants.

On a bit of a side note, previous year’s voting contests I have held has drawn a fair bit of duplicate voting – therefore each vote will need to be validated using a complex vetting algorithm with vote legitimacy being the discretion of SvenStudios. All winners are final and no correspondence will be entered into. Each individual are allowed a single vote during the contest period.
