It couldn’t have been a more beautiful day for Eleanor and Justin’s wedding at the Rendezvous Experience located just out of Elizabeth. The sun was shining and smiles were all around to celebrate the coming together of these two families. I was asked to cover their wedding for the entire day so I was with Eleanor and Justin from their preparation through till the end of their reception, all on location at the Rendezvous Experience.
Preparation
I started my day with Justin and his family where I was greeted with a beautifully helpful family and the desire to make use of the Mustang sitting in their driveway 🙂 The entire morning with Justin and his entourage was relaxed and easy going.
I then headed down the road a bit to Eleanor’s place of preparation. As I arrived their makeup was just being completed and everyone was fussing about putting the finishing touches on things.
The Rendezvous Experience wedding ceremony
The Rendezvous Experience is a hidden gem of a garden that seems to be purpose built for wedding ceremonies, located just outside of Elizabeth and just down the road from the Munno Para shopping center. The jewel of the location is the delightful little gazebo and leading stairway in front of which Eleanor and Justin opted to be married in front of. As it was such a sunny day, it was perfect setting as the sun was located just behind a large tree and the guests were protected under large sun umbrellas so everyone was comfortable.
Glamour Photos
One of the requested photos from Eleanor was a shot of herself and Justin playing about on some swings. Fortunately there was a beautiful little swing on site at the Rendezvous Experience for just such an occasion! So we started off our shoot there, after taking a few family photos on the large grassy area. We then meandered around the grassy area making use of the lovely trees and shining sun to create some beautiful images showing Eleanor and Justin’s love for one another. On a side note I learnt quite a bit about the individual trees, thanks to Justin and his best man who happened to be arborists 😛
The Rendezvous Experience Wedding Reception
The reception area on site at the Rendezvous Experience is a cute little area designed for a modest sized wedding reception with a dance floor off to the side. The entire area was decorated with fairy lights and white hanging cloth which made for a lovely backdrop to the head table. The night’s entertainment was made so much more fun by having DJ Ben as their MC who always puts together a series of fun games and silliness to get everyone up and about throughout the night 🙂
