SvenStudios Instagram Carousel Composer

Build seamless photo and video carousels, preview them in motion, then export every slice ready to post. For wedding photography and videography, see SvenStudios wedding photography and videography.

Create swipe-worthy Instagram carousels from photos, videos—or both.

SICC is a free creative canvas made by a photographer, for photographers. Drop in your media, arrange it across one continuous canvas, trim video clips, and export perfectly divided carousel slides. There is no account and your media is never uploaded: the editing and rendering happen locally in your browser.

New: SICC now supports editable video layers, live canvas playback and per-slice MP4 export.

Drag and drop images or videos here JPEG, PNG, WebP and browser-compatible video files

Video export creates synchronized, muted H.264 MP4 slices at up to 1080px. All processing remains in your browser.

Photo + video workflow

A continuous carousel canvas that moves

Videos behave like normal layers, so you can position, resize, crop and stack them alongside photographs. Trim each clip to the moment you want, preview the complete canvas before rendering, and export the carousel as individual MP4 slices.

Mixed-media layersCombine still photographs and video clips on the same canvas.
Trim with confidenceSet the visible in and out points before you render.
Canvas video previewWatch the composed carousel play across every slide.
Per-slice MP4 exportDownload a ZIP of muted H.264 MP4s, rendered at up to 1080px and 30 fps.

How it works

  1. Choose the canvas. Select the carousel format and number of slices.
  2. Drop in your media. Add images and browser-compatible video files by drag and drop.
  3. Compose the story. Arrange each independent layer, or build an orientation-aware masonry automatically. Adjust the live gutter slider, rebuild, shuffle or undo the layout at any time.
  4. Fine-tune and preview. Crop photographs, trim clips and play the full canvas to check timing and transitions.
  5. Export. Download crisp PNG slices for still carousels or a ZIP of individual MP4 slices for video carousels.

Why photographers use SICC

  • Photos and videos together – Tell richer stories without switching between separate editors.
  • Every item stays editable – Masonry placement never flattens your media into one locked image.
  • Fast layout exploration – Rebuild or shuffle alternative arrangements while preserving an undo path.
  • Privacy by design – Your original media stays on your device.
  • Free to use – No subscription, account or paywall.

Enjoying the composer?

SICC is free to use. If it saves you time, a coffee helps support its ongoing development and browser compatibility.

Before rendering video

SICC performs video processing inside your browser, so a modern desktop browser is recommended. Long clips, high-resolution source files and complex canvases use more memory and can take longer to render. Keep this tab open until the MP4 ZIP is ready.

Video carousel exports are currently muted and rendered as H.264 MP4 files at up to 1080px and 30 fps. Use browser-compatible source video for the smoothest experience. If you only need still slides, PNG ZIP export remains available.

SICC focuses on quick, template-free carousel composition rather than the full toolset of Photoshop or SCRL. For a closer look, read our guide to a free SCRL alternative for photographers.
