Ivybrook Farm is a charming family-owned wedding venue that offers a rustic setting with plenty of options for your ceremony and reception. I’m sorry to say though that I don’t think they cater to weddings any longer, which is a shame!
One of the main ceremony spots is located under a huge tree that provides ample shade for the bridal couple, although not so much for guests. This location boasts a delightful backdrop with the rustic old main building beyond it. Another spot for a larger ceremony is on the manicured green grass near the on-site bed and breakfast. Additionally, there’s a rustic old barn that can serve as a plan B in case of rain, although it’s not a large space.
The reception area overlooks the main ceremony spot, which is perfect for lawn games and enjoying drinks and nibbles on the decking. The interior decor is lovely and rustic, with boho vibes and old-world charm. Guests will love the relaxed, laid-back atmosphere of the venue and its surrounds. With its rustic charm and beautiful setting, Ivybrook Farm is the perfect choice for couples seeking a relaxed, country-style wedding.
One of the best things about Ivybrook Farm is the diversity of photo opportunities. There are lines of gum trees, high grass fields, and manicured gardens all surrounding the old-world barns and ruins that make up the farm. The opportunities for beautiful photos are endless, and your wedding album is sure to be filled with stunning shots. As a McLaren Vale wedding photographer, I absolutely love shooting at Ivybrook Farm as there are so many unique locations to work with.
