Lauren and David’s Mt Lofty House Wedding was held as a lunch-time wedding and included a ‘first look’ session where Lauren and David took the time in the morning to have their glamour photos done before their wedding ceremony. As I was asked to be their wedding photographer for 3 hours, this saw me at their wedding from this time through to the start of their lunchtime reception.
Lauren and David were a little late to Mt Lofty House due to a little hiccup with Lauren’s makeup artist, but once that was sorted out, the rest of the day went fairly smoothly. The day started out extremely foggy, which i thought was going to be a brilliant opportunity for some unique looking vineyard photos. Unfortunately shortly after Lauren and David arrived, the fog lifted. The weather was still useful however as the gardens of Mt Lofty House lend themselves well to overcast days.
Mt Lofty House Wedding Ceremony
As is the case with many Mt Lofty House Weddings, Lauren and David’s ceremony overlooked the usually picturesque botanic gardens. Unfortunately the low-lying cloud kind of diminished their beauty a tad – but it was still smiles all round for their wedding ceremony 🙂
Mt Lofty House Wedding Reception
Directly after their wedding ceremony and a few family shots within the gardens, Lauren and David’s guests were treated to orderves and grass games before heading in for the lunch-time reception. This was held within the new reception hall built at the foot of the Mt Lofty House grounds.
