Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens

If you're looking for a picturesque and idyllic location for your wedding ceremony or photography session, look no further than the Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens. With its sprawling gardens and magnificent vistas, it's no wonder that this Adelaide Hills location has become a popular spot for couples tying the knot.

The gardens offer a variety of locations available to hire out through the South Australian Botanic Gardens organization, making it easy to find the perfect spot to suit your needs. Whether you're after a quiet and intimate ceremony, or a larger gathering, there are plenty of options to choose from.

One of the best things about the gardens is the seasonal changes that make it such a beautiful spot year-round.

For couples planning a Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens wedding in Crafers, the gardens are suited to a ceremony or photography session, with a separate reception venue needed for larger functions. In particular, autumn sees the gardens come alive with the changing colours of the deciduous trees, providing a breathtaking backdrop for your special day.

However, it's important to keep in mind that the gardens are a public space, so there may be other visitors and tourists around during your ceremony or photography session. As a wedding venue, the gardens do not offer facilities to host large functions or gatherings, so you'll need to make alternative arrangements for your reception.

While this may require some extra planning and coordination, the natural beauty and charm of the Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens make it a truly unforgettable location to celebrate your special day. For a couples photography example, see Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens Couples Shoot – Ruth & Emanuel.
