Cassie and Danny’s Manor Basket range Wedding was a fun-filled day with plenty of style and beautiful people that were super eager to have a briliant day – and they well succeeded!
The weather was overcast, some fun things wer planned throughout the day, and it was just a delight to be a part of!
Preparation
Both Cassie and Danny were prepared at the Manor’s accomodation, which was super convenient, as directly after setting up their photobooth my wife and I was able to flit in between the groomsmen’s preparation room at one end of the accomodation, and the bridesmaid’s – who were being prepared in the two spare rooms above the main doorway of the ‘castle’ keep.
I was very excited to see that Danny and his groomsmen were sporting tails on theri suit jackets which i thought were super classy and added a huge amount of style to these already good looking young men!
Cassie and her bridesmaids were having a blast getting ready upstairs, with laughter and joyous chatter the background noise for these fun loving ladies!
Both Cassie and Danny had two outfits they wore during the day, so Cassie’s ‘main’ dress was proudly on display using a mannequin, while her reception dress was draped over a doorway.
It was really nice to not only have Cassie’s bridesmaids help out with her getting ready, but both sets of mothers were also there, with Cassie’s mother having the honour of placing her veil in her hair before doing a ‘first look’ with Dad on the Manor’s balcony.
The Manor Basket Range Wedding Ceremony
Cassie and Danny’s wedding ceremony was presided over by Danny’s sister – so the whole thing was not technically legal, but I felt it meant a lot more to involve family like this! They held a quick legal ceremony after, away from the prying eyes of guests.
Their vows to one another were absolutely beautiful, making sure that everyone in attendance had both a smile on their face and tears in their eyes throughout – and Danny topped the whole thing off with a fluorish, dipping Cassie down for a big kiss.
Glamour Photos
The original plan – as is often the case – was to head over to the nearby ruins of the Deep Creek Bridge, only to recant on the day and realise that there wasn’t much time left to do so. That wasn’t to say that we diddnt get some awesome shots though!
The weather was perfect for a Manor in Basket Range wedding, as the whole place lends itself very well to overcast days. We especially made use of the gardens, and the nearby orchard which just pops in this sort of light!
An amazing addition to Cassie and Danny’s day was an early bouquet toos from a moving car! This was something I had not yet seen, despite havign covered over 350 weddings prior! This is why I love my job as you get to witness awesome things like this, and everyone involved loved it too.
The Manor Basket Range Wedding Reception
Cassie and Danny’s wedding reception started off with a blast – literally from confetti cannons, money guns, and the grand entrance of the bridal couple on a magic carpet! Which was a skateboard on a rope, but was still impressive!
Whew, did Cassie and Danny have some talkers in their guest list! I’m not at all implying that any of the speeches were broing – quite the contrary, laughter fololowed pretty much every sentence!, but wow there was a lot of speeches! Their reception video I put together ended up being over 2 hours long!
The night certainly went by in a quick blur, with my photobooth having a good workout, while all their guests had a grand old time dancing the night way – was great fun!
Thanks so much to Cassie and Danny for having me cover your Manor Basket Range Adelaide Hills photographer and videographer! Was brilliant!
