Hove Beach Family Shoot
As a family photographer, I’ve had the joy of capturing many precious moments, but this Hove Beach Family Shoot stands out as a particularly delightful experience. I joined Brett and his lovely family for an unforgettable day at Hove Beach, on the southern shore of Adelaide. The initial plan was to use a local park in Aberfoyle Park, but we quickly switched gears to the stunning seaside setting, due to the untrimmed grass at the park.
The beach provided a magnificent backdrop for this family gathering. The sun cast a golden glow over the scene, enhancing the natural beauty and warmth of the day. It’s not every day you get to work with such a cooperative and spirited group. We started with large group shots, which was a fantastic way to get everyone involved right from the start. The energy was infectious as family members laughed and chatted, bringing a genuine feel to each photo.

Transitioning between the large group shots and the smaller, intimate ones for each family group was seamless. This added a bit of spontaneity to our shoot, as we worked with the environment, subtly adjusting our angles and positions to keep the focus on the family.
The Children
The children were absolutely the stars of the show of this Hove Beach Family Shoot!. Their energy and unfiltered joy were contagious, bringing a lively and playful dynamic to the shoot. Watching them run around in the sand, the little boy wasnt so sure about everything, but his big sister made sure he was a part of everything.
