Sneaky's Restaurant, north of Adelaide sparkled under the brilliant December sun, setting a picturesque scene for Anna and Luis’s wedding day. As a wedding photographer, capturing the essence of such a splendid venue is always exhilarating, especially when it’s filled with the love and excitement of a couple like Anna and Luis. The charm of Sneaky’s made it the perfect backdrop for this memorable event. Luis’ morning was a lively affair, surrounded by his close friends at a house in the northern suburbs. The atmosphere was jovial, filled with laughter and light-hearted banter, as Luis and his groomsmen shared memories and looked forward to the day ahead. The camaraderie among them was palpable, making for candid and heartwarming photographs. It was a joy to capture these moments, each snapshot reflecting the genuine bond they shared.
Anna’s preparation was nothing short of a whirwind, taking place in a grand old house near Sneaky’s Restaurant. The elegance of the house, with its stunning entrance hallway, provided an exquisite backdrop for bridal portraits. Anna, radiant and graceful, was a vision amidst the classic charm of the house. Her bridesmaids, eight in number, added to the vibrancy of the morning, their excitement palpable as they assisted Anna in getting ready.

The layout was ideal, allowing the bridal cars to approach right up to the awaiting guests, who were seated in an expansive arrangement, befitting the large congregation.

During the ceremony, in addition to our usual virtual reality video recording, we live-streamed the occasion for Luis’ family overseas, bridging the distance with technology. It was touching to see Luis interact with his family virtually, sharing his special day with them. These moments, filled with smiles and sometimes tears, added a profound depth to the narrative of the day, showcasing the love and connection that spanned continents.

After their Sneaky’s restaurant wedding ceremony, the newlyweds, their party and us ventured around the beautiful lawns and into the nearby forest for some glamour shots. To accommodate their large guest list, a spacious pop-up pavilion was erected, transforming the area into a spectacular party venue. As the evening began, Anna and Luis made a grand entrance, reminiscent of the Blues Brothers, complete with hats, sunglasses, and confetti cannons. This fun and spirited moment set the tone for the rest of the night.
Unfortunately, a slight hiccup occurred when the fireworks planned for their first dance malfunctioned. However, this did not dampen the spirits of the couple or their guests. The dance floor was soon filled with eager guests, dancing the night away under the starlit Adelaide sky. The energy was infectious, and as a photographer, it was a delight to capture these lively moments. As the night progressed, we did a ‘Sneaky’ (haha) and snuck out for a final set of glamour photos in the forest. This time, with the addition of smoke and lights, the setting transformed into a mystical wonderland. These night shots added a dramatic and romantic flair to the couple’s photo collection, showcasing the versatility and beauty of Adelaide’s landscapes.
