After the ceremony, we made our way to the new area of the Adelaide Railway Station for a quick photo session. This spot was a brilliant contrast to the historic beauty of the Pilgrim Uniting Church. Mortlock Library Wedding Reception

The St Ignatius Church wedding in Norwood was a full Catholic mass that included simple yet meaningful vows, a touching homily, and the invitation for guests to take communion. St Ignatius Church, known for its stunning architecture and rich history, provided a beautiful backdrop for their sacred ceremony. As Karen and Luke exchanged vows, the sun filtered through the church’s stained glass windows, casting a warm glow over the couple and their guests. The wedding reception took place at The Lane Vineyard’s cellar door, a cozy and intimate venue that perfectly suited Karen and Luke’s style. The reception was a blend of elegance and personal touches, reflecting the couple’s frequent visits to the winery for its amazing food. The staff went above and beyond, preparing a special plate of caviar and other delicacies for the couple.

As the sun set, the celebration continued on the deck, where guests enjoyed the stunning views and the festive atmosphere. The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, a fun game of heads and tails with the winner receiving a bottle of wine, and, of course, dancing. Karen and Luke even finished filming each other with our vintage Super8 video camera, capturing candid moments that will be cherished forever.

A highlight of the evening was our photobooth setup, which provided endless entertainment for the guests. Equipped with a variety of fun props and backdrops, the photobooth became a hotspot of laughter and creativity. Guests took turns snapping whimsical and candid shots, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere. The photobooth photos, filled with smiles and playful poses, were a hit, giving everyone a delightful keepsake from the evening.

Langmeil Lutheran Church Wedding – Cassie & Corben

The enchanting Langmeil Lutheran Church wedding of union of Cassie and Corben was a wonderful day to be a part of! As a Barossa wedding photographer, capturing the essence of such a beautiful location, along with the joy and love of the couple’s special day, was an absolute delight. The church itself, with its majestic high steeple and the neat line of tall pencil pines framing the entrance, provided a picturesque backdrop that is every photographer’s dream.

My role was to artfully capture the beauty of the venue while subtly concealing the cemetery adjacent to the church, a challenge I was more than ready to embrace.

Upon my arrival, the weather seemed intent on testing my skills however, with rain pouring down relentlessly. The gloomy forecast had me preparing for a day spent dodging showers, yet, as fate would have it, the skies cleared just as the ceremony concluded. The grove, with its towering pine trees and most importantly – dry ground – offered a magical setting for capturing the couple amidst nature’s beauty. The tranquility and natural elegance of the pine grove provided a stunning contrast to the historic charm of Langmeil Lutheran Church, showcasing the couple’s journey in a beautifully diverse landscape.

Our adventure continued to the rocks outside Chateau Yaldara, where the water levels played in our favor, allowing us to create some truly unique shots. The backdrop of the rocks added a rugged, yet romantic element to the photos, perfectly encapsulating the essence of the Barossa’s natural beauty.
