The St Patricks Church Adelaide been described as one of the most impressive churches in the Archdiocese of Adelaide. It’s impressive roman pillars and spacious interior makes this church an impressive sight as you walk in through it’s doors. It is the second church on the site. The first church, which faced West Terrace, was the first Catholic Church building in the colony of South Australia. It was also used for some years as a school room for the nearby school. The current church just celebrated its centenary in 2015, but it’s so well constructed you’d be forgiven in thinking it’s a much more modern church.
