Starting the day at the break of dawn, we navigated through Adelaide’s serene morning, the Botanic Gardens awaiting us with open arms. Despite the minor hiccup of Womad road closures, the morning unfolded into a picturesque beginning of Rachele and Jacob’s forever.

The Adelaide Botanic Gardens, with its lush landscapes and tranquil ambiance, was the perfect backdrop for their love to shine. I found myself flipping the script on my usual photography tactics, thanks to the sun playing hide and seek on the opposite side of the sky. It was a delightful challenge, pushing me to capture the essence of their love in a light, unlike anything I’ve experienced before.

As we meandered through the enchanting pathways of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, the connection between Rachele and Jacob was palpable. North Terrace Glamour Shoot

From the natural beauty of the gardens, we transitioned to the architectural elegance along North Terrace. Bonython Hall’s grandeur and the historic charm of the old police barracks behind the Adelaide Museum provided a majestic backdrop. The contrast between the soft, romantic moments shared by Rachele and Jacob and the imposing structures was visually striking. It was as if their love story was being told through time, with each building narrating a different chapter.

This part of the day was a whirlwind of laughter and exploration, capturing the essence of Adelaide’s rich history and the couple’s adventurous spirits. The excitement of the day caught up with us, and thinking the ceremony time was upon us, we hastened our steps, we diddnt need to as we had misread the time – but it did give us a moment in the form of a break at a nearby cafe, sipping drinks and basking in the anticipation of the ceremony.

The ceremony at the registry office on Chesser Street was a heartwarming celebration of Rachele and Jacob’s love. The celebration continued at Harry’s Bar, where the balcony offered the perfect spot for a lunchtime reception.
