There’s something incredibly exciting about photographing a wedding at a venue we haven’t visited before, and Brooke and Arthur’s special day at Faithwood Chapel in West Lakes was no exception. This charming little chapel, tucked away in the serene surroundings of West Lakes, was a delightful surprise. The chapel’s quaint, whitewashed walls exuded a simple elegance that perfectly complemented the couple’s choice of vibrant red roses, which brought a pop of color to the intimate setting.

Despite the wet weather, the atmosphere inside the chapel was warm and welcoming, with Brooke, Arthur, and their children radiating a joy that easily outshone the grey skies.

Stepping into Faithwood Chapel for the first time, we were immediately struck by its peaceful ambiance. The chapel’s modest size and pristine white interior made it feel like the perfect cocoon for Brooke and Arthur’s love story to unfold. The couple’s decision to keep the ceremony small and intimate made the day even more special, with every detail reflecting their personalities and the love they share.

After the heartfelt ceremony at Faithwood Chapel, we ventured to the iconic Port Adelaide precinct for Brooke and Arthur’s glamour photos. Port Adelaide, with its historic charm, offered a stunning contrast to the classic elegance of the chapel. The couple, still basking in the joy of their ceremony, were a delight to photograph as they explored the area’s hidden gems.

As the day transitioned from the intimate ceremony at Faithwood Chapel to the vibrant streets of Port Adelaide, we were able to capture a wide range of emotions and settings, each one adding to the rich tapestry of Brooke and Arthur’s wedding day. The final stop at Carmine and Co for their lunchtime reception was the perfect way to round off the celebrations. The warm, inviting atmosphere of the restaurant, coupled with delicious food and heartfelt toasts, made for a relaxed and joyful end to a day that was truly unforgettable.
