There’s something incredibly exciting about photographing a wedding at a venue we haven’t visited before, and Brooke and Arthur’s special day at Faithwood Chapel in West Lakes was no exception. This charming little chapel, tucked away in the serene surroundings of West Lakes, was a delightful surprise. The chapel’s quaint, whitewashed walls exuded a simple elegance that perfectly complemented the couple’s choice of vibrant red roses, which brought a pop of color to the intimate setting.
Despite the wet weather, the atmosphere inside the chapel was warm and welcoming, with Brooke, Arthur, and their children radiating a joy that easily outshone the grey skies.
Stepping into Faithwood Chapel for the first time, we were immediately struck by its peaceful ambiance. As the day transitioned from the intimate ceremony at Faithwood Chapel to the vibrant streets of Port Adelaide, we were able to capture a wide range of emotions and settings, each one adding to the rich tapestry of Brooke and Arthur’s wedding day. The final stop at Carmine and Co for their lunchtime reception was the perfect way to round off the celebrations. The warm, inviting atmosphere of the restaurant, coupled with delicious food and heartfelt toasts, made for a relaxed and joyful end to a day that was truly unforgettable.
