ROYAL SOUTH AUSTRALIAN YACHT SQUADRONThrough a photographer’s eyes.

If you're looking for a wedding venue with a stunning view of the ocean, the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron is definitely one to consider. Located right at the tip of Outer Harbour, this venue offers a picturesque view of the sea and marina, which can be enjoyed from the spacious balcony of their newly renovated reception hall.

The venue offers a choice of locations for your wedding ceremony, with the large grassy area next to the water being a popular choice for couples. The decking near the bar offers a more intimate option, while the historic boat house provides a sheltered option in case of inclement weather.

One of the things that sets the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron apart from other wedding venues is the historical significance of the boat house on which the reception hall was built. As one of the earliest structures in Adelaide, the boat house adds a touch of nostalgia and heritage to your special day.

In terms of wedding photography, the stunning ocean views and marina make for a perfect backdrop for your wedding photos. You could even consider taking some photos on one of the yachts at the marina, adding a unique touch to your wedding album.

The venue's proximity to the beach also means that you and your guests can take a leisurely stroll or even dip your toes in the water, adding a fun and relaxed element to your wedding celebration.

The Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron is well-equipped to cater for weddings of all sizes, with ample space to accommodate a large guest list. The modern, stylish reception hall is the perfect space to celebrate your love with family and friends. See Emily & Leigh’s RSAYS wedding for a wedding photographed at the venue.
