The Tatachilla Estate, up until recently has been used as a school camp for the nearby Tatachilla Lutheran College, but has been bought out and been transformed into a huge complex suitable for weddings of any size. The site boasts beautiful old buildings built for the vineyards that were planted in 1867 as part of the old Tatachilla winery. Associated with the winery is an imposing residence constructed at much the same time and exhibiting typical Federation period detailing. Also associated with the winery are a large number of storage buildings and the original blacksmithy. There is a row of mature Norfolk Island pines between the winery and the house and also a pair of Norfolk Island pines marking the entrance to the residence.
Wedding ceremonies can be held at numerous different spots around the sprawling property, while receptions can be held outside, or inside the cavernous old store sheds.
