This Adelaide Hills venue, a charming faux castle, set the stage for an unforgettable experience. The sun shone brightly, casting a warm glow over the stone walls and lush gardens, creating a perfect backdrop for their special day. Preparation

The morning bustled with excitement. As I arrived, Kade and his crew were rearranging cars, setting the scene for their grand preparation. The atmosphere was lively, with laughter echoing through the air. The little page boy, a delightful bundle of energy, stole the show. He darted around, basking in the attention of the groomsmen. Kade’s choice of matching Peaky Blinders caps for his friends was a stroke of genius, adding a dash of vintage flair to the day. As a fan of these hats myself, I couldn’t wait to capture this stylish detail in the photos.

Meanwhile accross the hallway, Ebonnie’s preparations unfolded. Surrounded by her bridesmaids and an adorable, curious flower girl, the air was filled with giggles and the rustle of dresses. The flower girl’s eagerness to explore and taste everything in sight added a delightful, candid element to the morning. Wedding at The Manor Basket Range

The ceremony, held in front of the Manor’s quaint chapel, was a picturesque scene. As the afternoon sun filtered through the trees, it cast a magical light over the couple. The vows were heartfelt, and the love between Ebonnie and Kade was evident in every glance and smile. Reception

The reception was a dazzling affair. Ebonnie and Kade made a grand entrance amidst fireworks, setting the tone for an evening of celebration. Their first dance, also accompanied by fireworks and dry ice, was a mesmerizing spectacle. The love and connection between them were palpable, and as their photographer, I felt honoured to capture these intimate moments.

As the evening progressed, we seized the opportunity to step outside at sunset for a few more photos. The softer light was perfect, eliminating the harsh shadows and creating a romantic ambiance. Later, we ventured out again, this time with smoke and lights for some dramatic nighttime shots. These images, with their unique blend of light and shadow, added an edgy, artistic dimension to their wedding album.

We ventured outside, exploring the quaint streets of Glenelg. The blend of urban and seaside elements made for some stunning photographs. Jess was preparing in a room at the Stamford Grand, with panoramic views of the jetty. The room’s airy spaces and natural light provided the perfect setting for some beautiful portraits. The excitement in the room was palpable, as Jess and her bridesmaids shared laughs and heartfelt moments.

Stamford Grand Wedding Ceremony

The balcony ceremony at Stamford Grand was a scene right out of a fairy tale. Overlooking Moseley Square, the sunlit setting created an ethereal atmosphere. Despite a brief concern about a lively group in the Grand Bar, the Stamford staff skillfully managed the situation, ensuring a serene and intimate ceremony.

The ceremony was a testament to Jess and Tim’s love, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. The sun’s rays, casting a golden glow over the couple as they said their vows, made for some truly enchanting photographs. The joy and love shared on that balcony were immeasurable, and as their photographer, capturing these heartfelt moments was incredibly fulfilling.

Glamour Photos

Post-ceremony, we utilized the grand staircase at the center of the hotel for some stunning group shots. The staircase, with its opulent design, added a touch of grandeur to these photographs. We revisited the Horizons Cocktail Bar for more intimate couple shots, making the most of its vintage charm.

The beach and various scenic spots along the Glenelg foreshore served as our canvas for the glamour photos. Jess and Tim, against the backdrop of the sun setting over the ocean, created a breathtakingly romantic scene. Every location around Glenelg offered a unique element, adding depth and diversity to their wedding album.

Seafire Wedding Reception

The day’s celebrations continued at the Seafire restaurant. Although my time there was brief, the ambiance of the reception was lively and joyous. Capturing Jess and Tim cutting their cake was a highlight, as their smiles and laughter were infectious. The couple’s excitement for their upcoming ‘wreck the dress’ shoot the following day was evident, and their energy was a photographer’s dream.

Nestled under a majestic gum tree in the northern part of the gardens, their ceremony space was nothing short of enchanting. The gardens, with their diverse landscapes and stunning backdrops, provided the perfect canvas for our glamour shots. We journeyed through lush greenery, pausing at picturesque spots to capture the essence of the day. Botanic Gardens Glamour Photos

Following the ceremony, we embarked on what I like to call a ‘whirlwind photography tour’ around the Botanic Gardens. With only two hours to capture the essence of Ayla and Drew’s wedding day, we strolled through the verdant landscapes, finding picture-perfect spots at every turn. The gardens, with their diverse flora and beautifully landscaped areas, provided a stunning backdrop for our glamour photoshoot.

The challenge of the day was working around the ongoing Illuminate Adelaide festival. The presence of black boxes scattered throughout the gardens required a bit of creative photography and some post-production magic. However, this didn’t deter us from capturing the beauty and romance of the day. The photos turned out spectacular, each one telling a story of love, joy, and the enchanting setting of the Botanic Gardens.

This Federation country house, dating back to 1901, stands proud on a 200-acre property with unspoilt views that are a photographer’s dream​​.

Prior to the ceremony

Arriving at Templewood House, you’re greeted by the stately driveway and ancient gums, a prelude to the beauty within​​. As I made my way up to the house, camera in hand, the excitement was palpable. Inside, Michelle was a vision of grace, surrounded by the warmth of heritage walls as she was being prepared. After the “I dos” and group celebrations, we ventured around Templewood’s grounds. The bridal party, bless them, were ever so patient as I guided them into the long grass for that perfect shot. Their laughter and camaraderie made each click of the shutter a joy. You see, it’s not just about the photos; it’s the experience, the shared moments among the natural splendour of this equestrian property​​.

With sunlight casting a golden glow over the hills, we seized the moment, capturing love and laughter among the backdrop of Millbrook Reservoir Reserve’s finest vistas. And yes, the horse that joined us? Well, it seemed to approve, adding a touch of whimsical charm to our session.

Templewood House Wedding Reception

As the sun dipped lower, the reception unfolded with a warmth that only a family-operated venue like Templewood could host​​. Heartfelt speeches filled the air, and the smorgasbord of traditional desserts was a feast for the senses. A homemade cake, the centrepiece of this culinary celebration, was a marvel of sweetness and style.

Dancing under the stars, the chilly Adelaide Hills night was no match for the heat of the dance floor. The joy was infectious, and as their wedding photographer, I swirled around them, capturing every twirl, every smile, and the undeniable magic of the night.
