Peter Lehmann Winery Wedding – Alpana & James

As a wedding photographer frequently covering weddings in the Barossa Valley, I have had the pleasure of capturing many beautiful moments and memories over the years. However, there was something truly special about Alpana and James’ Peter Lehmann Winery wedding in the Barossa Valley. From the stunning venue to the surprise horse and cart arrival, this wedding was truly one of a kind.

Peter Lehmann Winery Wedding Ceremony

I had the honour of capturing every moment of Alpana and James’ special day beginning with with their ceremony, which took place on the grassy area, flanked by gum trees in front of the Old Redemption Cellar and continued through to their reception, conveniently located in this modern venue space.

Alpana arrived via horse and cart, which was a complete surprise to her, thanks to James’ thoughtful gift. It was a magical moment, and I was able to capture the surprise and joy on Alpana’s face as she arrived at the venue before being led down the aisle flanked by her Mother and Father.

Their ceremony was intermingled by heartfelt vows, readings from close friends and of course the little show-stopping cameos of cute children running about!

Glamour Photos

Throughout the day, Alpana and James’ goal was to capture their day in a natural way, with very little posing and a very photo journalistic approach. As a wedding photographer, I was thrilled to work with a couple who valued authenticity and wanted their day to be captured in a natural and unobtrusive way. This allowed me to capture candid moments and emotions, which created a beautiful and authentic record of their special day.

The surrounds of the Peter Lehmann Winery, and the time of the day combined with the weather really made things easy for me as the lovely warm glow of the sun beautifully complimented everything that we did!

Peter Lehmann Winery Wedding Reception

Nestled behind the iconic Peter Lehmann Wines Cellar Door, The Old Redemption cellar boasts stunning vistas of the lush green lawns and native eucalyptus trees, making it the perfect location for any special occasion.

The recently refurbished venue is flooded with natural light and boasts expansive floor-to-ceiling glass doors that lead out to a charming terrace overlooking the picturesque scenery. The sophisticated and contemporary decor of Old Redemption can accommodate up to 300 guests, making it an ideal setting for a wide range of events.

The space is huge! and very dark, which makes any photo taken within this space really accentuate the people I’m taking photos of – it was actually quite a bit of fun!

Glenelg’s Partridge House Wedding – Alicia & Jason

Glenelg’s Partridge House wedding of Alicia and Jason had stunning weather, people and that stunning tree that make weddings at Partridge House spectacular! Got to love that tree!

I was asked to cover their wedding ceremony through to the beginning of their reception at the famed Sammy’s on the Marina, and it was a delight to be a part of!

Glenelg’s Partridge House Wedding Ceremony

As I usually do, I arrived at Partridge house a little early, so I was able to take a fe photos of Jason and his groomsman milling about the grounds, and also with their wedding car.

Alicia arrived a little later in her stylish white jag, and their intimate little ceremony took place under the lovely tree I mentioned earlier. The sunlight was filtering through it’s leaves beautifully and made photographing their ceremony pretty fun!

After the ceremony, and the mandiroty family photos – which I took under that magnificent tree, we made use of the lovely surrounding gardens that makes a Glenelg’s Partridge House wedding special.

I made sure to use the sun filtering trhoguh the leaves at every opportunity, and also focused around the fountain that is located just to the rear of the tree.

We then made use of the Jag which Alicia and Jason used to travel to the Grand Hotel on the beach front of Glenelg. We quickly used the grand starcase before running out again as there was a function using the hotel while we were there – we diddnt want to get in the way. So we head to the jetty and Photoshop came in handy to remove people who were otherwise ‘in the way’.

Finally we head to a little beach on the other side of the Glenelg Marina for a bit of privacy were we took a few shots on the sand before finally reaching their reception space at Sammy’s on the Marina.

Introducing the ‘Unphotographed Wedding’ Service

We at SvenStudios are thrilled to announce our latest service, the “Unphotographed Wedding” system. This cutting-edge AI technology is set to revolutionize the wedding photography industry and give couples a brand new way to capture their special day.

At SvenStudios, we’re always looking for ways to innovate and push the boundaries of the wedding photography industry, in the past we have developed such innovative services as Odorgraphy, Wedding Re-Live and the ever popular Robotic wedding service.

What is the Unphotographed Wedding system?

With the Unphotographed Wedding system, couples will no longer have to worry about the stress and pressure of traditional wedding photography. Our advanced algorithms will create a digital simulation of the couple’s wedding day, using information such as venue, color scheme, and attire to create a realistic representation.

All that’s needed is a few photos of the couple being married, a vague venue idea and we will run it through a simulation – you don’t even have to get off your couch!

Unphotographed Wedding AI Wedding Photo

This is wedding photography without having to have the wedding, nor the photography. Perfect for for those who don’t really care for the whole ‘wedding’ thing.

Once the digital simulation is complete, our AI system will take over, capturing stunning images of the simulated wedding from every angle. The resulting photos are compiled into a beautiful digital album, which can be shared with friends and family or printed out as physical copies.

We understand that not everyone is comfortable standing in front of a camera, and that’s where the Unphotographed Wedding system comes in. It’s the perfect solution for couples who want beautiful, high-quality wedding photos without the need for a physical ceremony or photographer.

We’re already receiving inquiries from excited couples who can’t wait to try out this new service, and we’re thrilled to be at the forefront of this exciting new technology. So if you’re looking for a stress-free, hassle-free way to capture your special day, look no further than SvenStudios and our Unphotographed Wedding system.

Unphotographed Wedding system trial period

While we’re excited about the potential of this cutting-edge AI technology, we want to be upfront that the images produced by the Unphotographed Wedding system aren’t yet perfect. We’re still fine-tuning the algorithms and working to ensure that the digital simulation accurately reflects the couple’s wedding day.

However, we’re confident that we’ll have everything perfected soon, and we’re excited to roll out the service in full within the coming months – perhaps before April 1st, 2024.

During the trial period, we’re offering a limited number of couples the opportunity to try out the Unphotographed Wedding system at a reduced rate. This will allow us to gather feedback and make any necessary adjustments before the official launch.

We believe that the Unphotographed Wedding system has the potential to revolutionize the way that couples approach their wedding photography, and we’re excited to be at the forefront of this exciting new technology. Stay tuned for updates on our progress, and we can’t wait to share this innovative new service with you soon!

Journey of Development

Developing the Unphotographed Wedding system has not been without its challenges. Our team has spent countless hours fine-tuning the AI algorithms and working to ensure that the digital simulation accurately reflects the couple’s wedding day. However, we’re proud to say that we’ve made significant progress in creating realistic wedding photos through this innovative technology. With each trial run, we continue to refine the system and improve its accuracy, ensuring that the final product will be truly exceptional.

Below are a few early prototype images generated by our patented ‘SvenStudios AI’. Obviously we’ve come a long way!

The Currant Shed Wedding – Emma & Robert

It was a stunning day for Emma and Robert’s The Currant Shed wedding in Mclaren Flat!

Their intimate wedding was full of close family and friends who all really loved celebrating the coming together of this lovely couple.

Preparation

After setting up the photobooth for the reception later in the day, I head to Robert’s place on preparation in Somerton Park. His parents were nice enought o offer up their beach-adjacent house, so after getting ready in the house, and having a few photos with the Grey Hound mascot, we went for a little bit of a stroll on the beach to finish up.

Emma and her parents were being preparaed at a bed and breakfast called The Farm in Willunga. The room Emma was getting ready in was rather small, but thankfully there was a delightful garden out the back, perfectly suited for a bit of a first look with Dad, and a few photos around a small decrepid building which looked suspiciously like an old outhouse.

The Currant Shed Wedding Ceremony

As a local Mclaren vale wedding photographer, heading to a winery in the local area – in this case Mclaren Flat – is always a joy. Being amongst the vines of a sprawling winery complex like The Currant Shed always makes things feel like you’re a million miles away from civilisation – makes things very intimate.

The Currant Shed wedding ceremonies are usually set up amongst the small orchard of fruit trees, just behind the main restaurant. It was super sunny on Emma and Robert’s big day so they also had large umbrellas brought out to protect as many of their guests as they could.

Their ceremony was lovely and simple, with a reading from a guest or two before saying their personal vows and sealing the deal with a kiss.

Glamour Photos

As Emma and Robert’s wedding ceremony was a little later in the day, time was running away from them a bit for glamour photos – particularly after having a few family photos taken anda bit of mingling.

We began with the little hidden, and overgrown section splitting the restaurant grassy area from the on-site bed and breakfast which allowed for some spectacular sunlight filtering through the leaves, then we walked to a nearby grove of gum trees – which are always my favourite.

PErhaps the defining feature of having a Currant Shed Wedding is the line of tall, thin gum trees lining a portion of the road leading to the nearby Shottesbrooke Winery. This spce allows for some speccy compositions!

The Currant Shed Wedding Reception

Emma and Robert’s reception took place in the semi-open restaurant of the Currant shed, which allowed for guests to roam the seating area, but also the characteristic courtyard of the winery. The rear orchard was the backdrop to the dancefloor whcih all their guests well utilised throughout the night!
