The House on Haines Wedding – Emily & Andrew

Emily and Andrew celebrated their love at The House on Haines, nestled at the base of the Adelaide Hills. Although the day was a bit wet and gloomy, it didn’t dampen the spirits of this lovely couple and their guests!

Emily and Andrew chose to embrace the weather and make it a part of their memorable day. Their wedding was also featured in the Sunday Mail feature on Emily and Andrew's wedding. So, grab your favorite drink, get cozy, and let’s dive into all the fantastic moments of this gorgeous Adelaide Hills wedding!

Andrew’s Preparation

The morning was filled with anticipation as Andrew and his groomsmen got ready at the couple’s home. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, and even the two fur babies of the house were caught up in the enthusiasm. After all, it’s not every day that their parents get married!

While there were many memorable moments, one light-hearted one was when a groomsman brought out a dozen different watches, unsure of which one to wear. It was a funny moment amidst the hustle and bustle of the morning. After getting ready, the groomsmen went for a short walk in a nearby park for some group shots before heading to the girls.

Emily’s Preparation at the Yatahlia Manor

Emily prepared for her big day at the stunning Yatahlia Manor, a beautiful house set amongst breathtaking grounds, complete with separate wings for all kinds of different photo shoots. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t allow us to use the grounds much, but we certainly made the most of the modern manor in all its glory. This included a tear-jerking first look with Emily’s father under the eaves of the main courtyard.

The Yatahlia Manor was the perfect backdrop for Emily’s preparation. The excitement in the air was palpable as Emily got ready with the help of her bridesmaids and family. Every detail, from her dress to her shoes, was carefully chosen and looked absolutely perfect.

Emily’s bridal bouquet was adorned with special charms that we had the honor of making for her. They were made of silver and surrounded by sparkling rhinestones, adding a touch of elegance and personalization to her bouquet. It was one of the first sets of bouquet charms we had made, and seeing them in Emily’s bouquet was incredibly rewarding. It’s always special to contribute to a bride’s big day in such a meaningful way.

The House on Haines Wedding Ceremony

The House on Haines wedding ceremony took place under a sea of umbrellas as the weather threatened to rain heavily throughout the event. For another celebration at the venue, see Danieka and Jack’s House on Haines wedding. Fortunately, it didn’t too much! Emily and Andrew decided to hold their ceremony outside on the grassy area near the house, regardless of the weather. Their celebrants made the ceremony a lot of fun by drawing their guests into the festivities in an interactive way.

Their dogs made a special appearance as ring bearers, eagerly making their way towards their parents. It was a sweet and touching moment that added a personal touch to the ceremony.

Anstey Hill Glamour Photos

For the glamour photos, we headed to Anstey Hill, just across the road. The space allowed for beautiful scenes shot through the foliage of gum trees, and the occasional spark of the sun making an appearance through the clouds. The bridal party was quite cold, so it wasn’t uncommon for the groomsmen to share their suit jackets with the bridesmaids.

The rain started to get quite heavy just as we left for the reception, but we managed to capture some beautiful moments amidst the natural beauty of Anstey Hill.

The House on Haines Wedding Reception

Emily and Andrew’s reception at The House on Haines was a blast! Guests were super keen on having a good time, and there were short but sweet speeches and a game of ‘shoe game‘ that made everyone laugh. Emily and Andrew had a large lit sign out on the decking as a backdrop to the night.

The only distraction was the Matildas game against France in the Women’s World Cup. The penalty shootout was tense, but it added an extra layer of excitement to the reception! At least one table was super excited bout it!

Adelaide Registry Office Wedding – Maeva & Rahul

Maeva and Rahul held their Adelaide Registry Office wedding on a lovely winter’s day! Before the main event, the day began at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens where both families gathered for a pre-wedding gathering. Although the weather threatened rain, it held off, allowing for a pleasant day. The gardens provided a scenic backdrop for the couple’s pre-wedding photoshoot, setting the stage for the events that followed.

Adelaide Botanic Gardens Pre-ceremony shoot

The Adelaide Botanic Gardens is nothing short of a fairy tale. With its sprawling greenery, majestic trees, and vibrant flowers, it was the perfect canvas for Maeva and Rahul’s pre-wedding shoot. As we strolled through the gardens, we captured candid moments, laughter, and the pure joy of two families coming together. The nearby Botanic Park was another gem, offering us a myriad of picturesque spots. Although, I must admit, the lights from the Illuminate Festival were a tad bit distracting. But hey, every story has its quirks, right?

After our delightful photo escapade, we made a sweet pit stop. And by sweet, I mean cake!

Centered in the heart of the gardens is this adorable cafe. Here, surrounded by their closest friends and family, Maeva and Rahul cut their wedding cake. The air was filled with cheers, laughter, and the sweet aroma of the cake. It was a moment of pure joy, a prelude to the beautiful ceremony that awaited us.

The Manor Basket Range Wedding – Lisandra & Andrew

We are pretty exicited to share the enchanting love story of Lisandra and Andrew as they tied the knot at the magnificent Manor in Basket Range, Adelaide Hills. Their Manor Basket Range wedding was truly a fairytale come to life, and I can’t wait to take you on this delightful journey filled with love, laughter, and a touch of nerdy charm!

Preparation

A medieval castle with a touch of modern elegance – that’s the Manor in Basket Range for you! This breathtaking wedding venue set the stage for Lisandra’s bridal preparations, and it was nothing short of magical. As I entered the main keep of the castle, I found Lisandra surrounded by her wonderful bridesmaids, all giggles and excitement.

Lisandra looked absolutely radiant as she got ready for her big day. Her gown was a vision of lace and tulle, making her look like a princess straight out of a storybook. But what really made her preparations special were the customs they incorporated from the Nordic Astaru traditions. Offering mead and having a wedding sword added a unique and playful touch, making it an experience to remember for everyone involved!

Andrew, and his gang of groomsmen were being prepared in one of the far rooms of the hotel area. The atmosphere in their room was full of camaraderie with a healthy dose of nerdiness. With references to Warhammer 40k and Dragon Ball Z flying around, it was clear that these guys knew how to have a good time!

As a fellow Warhammer 40k enthusiast, I couldn’t help but join in the fun (and secretly wish they’d give me some pro tips on the game!). Andrew looked dapper in his suit, and his excitement was palpable as he eagerly awaited the moment he would see his beautiful bride walking down the aisle.

The Manor Basket Range Wedding Ceremony

Their ceremony took place in front of the main castle keep, and it was an awe-inspiring sight. The love between Lisandra and Andrew was so evident as they exchanged their heartfelt vows in the presence of their closest family and friends.

Their ceremony included numerous, meaningful moments, including a welcome to country performed by a member of the family, the bridal party being lead by Andrew’s best man – (who really took his job seriously!), the offering of mead and a hand fasting ceremony.

Even after covering numerous weddings at the Manor, this was the first time the ceremony took place not in front of the little chapel, and it was a refreshing change! The grand castle provided a majestic backdrop that elevated the entire experience to a whole new level of romance.

Glamour Photos

After the heartwarming ceremony and a round of group photos, it was time for some glamour shots! We took full advantage of the castle grounds, and the bridal party was an absolute blast to work with. They were all game for some fun and adventurous poses, and the photos turned out to be nothing short of stunning!

The nearby orchard and gardens added a touch of natural beauty to the pictures. Lisandra and Andrew’s love shone through in every shot, making my job as their photographer an absolute joy.

The Manor Basket Range Wedding Reception

As the sun set, and the stars began to twinkle in the night sky, it was time to head indoors for the reception in the lower reception area of the castle. The rain made a fashionable appearance, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the guests one bit! It turned into a cozy and intimate affair, perfect for celebrating the newlyweds.

The night was filled with impromptu speeches, laughter, and non-stop dancing. Lisandra and Andrew’s friends and family knew how to have a good time, and the energy was infectious! It was truly a night to remember, and I felt so fortunate to capture every moment of their special day.

Mt Lofty House Wedding – Regan & Adam

Regan and Adam’s Adelaide Hills wedding was truly a day to remember, filled with stunning views, aviation-themed puns, and lots of love. As their chosen Adelaide wedding videographers and photographers, we had the pleasure of capturing every magical moment of this special day. But as a bit of fun, we also added a touch of vintage charm with a super 8 camera to create a unique wedding video experience. Let’s dive into the delightful details of Regan and Adam’s wedding celebration!

We had the pleasure of creating a vintage wedding video for Regan and Adam. With the nostalgic charm of a super 8 camera, we added a touch of whimsy and enchantment to their wedding memories. It was an exciting departure from the ordinary, resulting in a one-of-a-kind wedding video that perfectly complemented their special day.

Preparation

The day began with Adam and his groomsmen getting ready in their room at the wonderful Mt Lofty House, surrounded by breathtaking views of the Adelaide Hills. Both the groomsmen and the bridal party were being perpared along the same wing of the hotel, so we made the use of the situation by sticking the drone up for a quick photo of the two groups during their preparation!

As an aviation enthusiast, Adam’s preparation was filled with playful pilot jokes and puns, adding a fun and light-hearted atmosphere to the morning. The excitement was palpable as the groomsmen made sure Adam looked his absolute best, ensuring every tie was perfectly straight and every hair was in place.

Amidst the laughter and camaraderie, Adam took a moment to reflect on the significance of the day. His nerves mingled with anticipation as he prepared to marry the love of his life. It was a truly special and heartwarming scene, capturing the essence of love and friendship that would permeate the entire day.

The elegantly decorated reception hall exuded a romantic ambiance, with soft lighting and beautiful floral arrangements. The newlyweds made a grand entrance, their smiles illuminating the room as they danced their way to the center of attention.

The reception was a delightful fusion of heartfelt speeches, delicious cuisine, and joyful celebration. Laughter filled the air as guests shared stories and toasted to the couple’s love. The dance floor was soon crowded with enthusiastic dancers, and the night was filled with music and merriment.

A huge highlight of the night was their gelato cart which one of their guests had set up in the corner of the room! Was a very popular part of the night to entertain guests, along with our photo booth!
