It was here, in a room filled with nostalgia and morning sunlight, that Kirsty and her bridesmaids shared laughter and a few joyful tears as they prepared. The air buzzed with excitement, punctuated by the clicks and whirrs of my Super 8 camera — although I had an early mishap where I dropped it! haha – it was all part of the day’s adventures! The bridesmaids, dressed in chic, pastel gowns, flitted around Kirsty, who looked radiant in her flowing bridal dress.

Amidst the giggles and the final touches of makeup, there was a sense of serene happiness. The bridesmaids shared stories and reminisced, enveloped by the warmth of the home and the presence of Wal from Footrot Flats overseeing the scene. It was a morning filled with perfect moments, the kind that are a joy to capture, showcasing not just beauty but the bonds of lifelong friendships.

Closer to Sneakys, Chris and his groomsmen were getting ready in their own laid-back style. The atmosphere was relaxed but filled with anticipation. Southern Adelaide was showing off with perfect weather—sunny skies and just a hint of a breeze, ideal for capturing Mellora and Dan’s magnificent wedding day. Held at the iconic St Francis Winery, the setting couldn’t have been more picturesque for this joyful occasion.

Old Noarlunga, with its rustic charm and sweeping vineyard views, provided the perfect backdrop. As a wedding photographer, capturing the essence of such a unique venue like St Francis Winery brings a certain thrill. Mellora’s Preparation

The day kicked off in the St Francis bridal suite, bustling with excitement. Mellora, alongside her bridesmaids and her mother, was a vision of calm and happiness. The suite was filled with laughter and playful banter as they got ready. Although there were some hiccups, Mellora and Dan’s openness to incorporate this new technology into their special day was greatly appreciated. It was an invaluable learning experience, and thanks to their feedback, the selfbooth service is now fully operational and ready to enhance future celebrations. 🙂
