Cate and Renato’s Lake Breeze wines wedding took place on a stunning mid-December day surrounded by family and friends who were all delightful to be around!
cate and renato made use of my ever popular live stream service in order to include guests who could not attend due to COVID travel restrictions and also had my second photographer in tow in order to capture more angles!
cate and renato’s day could not have gone more smoothly – despite a rather unfortunate run in with swarms of mosquitoes while trying to have some photos taken, but we still got some great shots!
Preparation
My day started with Renato and his groomsmen getting prepared at a bed and breakfast in Brighton. It was only Renato and his two groomsmen in the whole house do getting prepared was quite a simple affair, and got ready rather quickly.
A quick group shot on the road out the front and I was off to the girls!

Cate and her bridesmaids were being prepared at another bed and breakfast in Seacliff with a delightful view of the nearby beach from it’s sprawling back patio! Cate’s Mum was also there to help out with the preparations which all occured amidst a lot of fun.

Lake Breeze Wines Wedding Ceremony
Cate and Renato’s Lake Breeze wines wedding ceremony took place on a large piece of grass, surrounded by a scattering of gum trees and backdropped by the vineyards that surrounded the cellar door and function rooms where the reception took place a little later in the day.
It was a little unfortunate that due to the sunny weather that Renato was looking into the sun throughout the ceremony but he was looking at his beatiful bride all throughout to notice much.
Their ceremony was a simple affair with a heartfelt speech or two from family before sealing the deal with a kiss and flower petal showered exit!

After group photos were done, we head off around the grounds to make use of the diverse surrounds that having a Lake Breeze wines wedding affords you and your photographer to make use of! Unfortunately as I mentioned earlier, the further away we ventured down the driveway, the more mosquitoes started attacking Cate and Renato which meant we couldnt stay too long amongst the otherwise delightful gum trees I was looking forward to using in their wedding photos!
After reatreating back towards the ceremony location, we used the vineyards a bit for some shots, and also head out at sunset for more.

Lake Breeze Wines Wedding Reception
The reception area at Lake Breeze Wines is a large, modern space that has obviously had a lot of work doen to it by the owners! The dance floor is lined with wine barrels and the sound system installed in the ceiling is quite impressive – even according to their DJ!
Was a very fun night with plenty of dancing and having fun.

I’d like to thank Cate and Renato for having me as their wedding photographer! It’s always fun to visit new wedding venues like Lake Breeze wines and I look forward to heading back there in the future!
Nadia and Joy held their duel ceremony wedding on a Tuesday at the beginning of December – which might seem out of the ordinary but it worked out beautifully for holding a GlenEwin Estate Gatehouse Wedding!
Being a Tuesday meant that the lower Pulpshed wedding venue wasn’t being used by another wedding so we got to use both spots for as many photos as we wanted. Also being a lunch time wedding, Nadia and Joy got to make the most of everything the Glen Ewin Estate has to offer!
Baha’i Wedding Ceremony
At the beginning of the day, Nadia and Joy held a religious Baha’i wedding ceremony from the comfort of their own home while making use of my livestream service which allowed a multitude of guests from around the world to tune in all day.
As is traditional with Baha’i wedding ceremonies, the service was a simple affair, with readings from family and friends and a signing of marriage documents over the household’s dining table after which I whisked myself off to GlenEwin Estate to set up the photobooth for their lunchtime reception and video equipment to record their GlenEwin Estate Gatehouse Wedding Ceremony.

GlenEwin Estate Gatehouse Wedding Ceremony
GlenEwin Estate Gatehouse Wedding ceremonies usually take place on a grassy area overlooking a man made pond in front of the main reception area just to the left of the entrance to the Estate. The space is surrounded on all sides by earth, greenery and makes for an intimate space for any wedding ceremony.
Nadia and Joy’s legal ceremony had already taken place during their Baha’i ceremony, so they had no need to sign any documents after this ceremony, but they still made the most of the moment by reciting heartfelt vows to one another and had a bit of fun with inserting fun little caveats to each other’s ‘i do’s’.

Directly after their second ceremony, we took a few family group shots and made use of some of the greenery around for some glamour shots before heading in for their lunchtime GlenEwin Estate Gatehouse wedding reception.
Again, the reception was a lovely, intimate, simple affair with family and friends, while guests who could not attend recording video messages for the bride and groom which was played on the large screen. During the rest of the reception the whole day was played back using the footage I had taken via my livestream!

As Nadia and Joy’s reception wrapped up after lunch, there was still ample time for us to run about the entirety of the Glen Ewin Estate to make use of some of the amazing spots scattered about for some more glamour photos – which was exactly what we did!
It was so liberating to have a wedding on a Tuesday as there were absolutely nobody else about dictating when and where we could go!

The weather was perfect for Ally and Rod’s lovely South Australian Museum wedding in early December! The day featured not only sunny weather but also furry friends, plenty of laughs and incredible venues – including a funky gin bar for their reception!
Ally and Rod had me as their wedding photographer for 6 hours, while also producing a highlight and ceremony video, which considering their wedding day itinerary proved challenging but all the more fun for it! We stayed in the Adelaide CBD all day from both places of preparation at the Oaks Embassy Hotel, and photos throughout the city.
Preparation
The day strted in Rod’s room with his groomsmen – one of which was unfortunetely a little late due to being a bit unfamiliar with Adelaide’s layout! It meant that he arrived with a few minutes to spare before I had to pop over to Ally’s room. Rod’s preparation was otherwise in good spirits with nothing seeming to phase Rod as he geared up for his wedding ceremony.

Ally and her bridesmaids were all helping each other prepare together in another room of the same hotel. The ladies were all keen to have a bit of fun by popping champaigne and having a fun time while helping ALly prepare for her big moment at her South Australian Museum wedding ceremony.

South Australian Museum Wedding Ceremony
One of the defining aspects of Ally and Rod’s relationship was apparently a mutual love for Alpacas – which I soon learnt were NOT Llamas – thanks to everyone quickly correcting me each time I made that faux pa! Due to this mutal love for the fuzzy animal, they had two of them walk down the aisle before Ally did! All very cute!
Ally and Rod’s South Australian Museum Wedding Ceremony took place in the front of the old police barracks that is hidden behind the Museum itself. It’s one of Adelaide’s best kept secrets in regards to giant heritage listed buildings hidden in plain view. The only unfortunately thing about this spot is the unfrotunate effect the sun has on sunny days such as this one! But it’s a great backdrop to a ceremony none the less!
Ally and Rod’s wedding ceremony was a nice, simple affair with heartfelt vows being said through the odd sounds made by the alpacas, cul;minating in a group photo using the building as a prop.

Glamour Photos
For glamour photos, Ally and Rod had hired a mini bus to whisk us around the Adelaide CBD to quite a few spots they had scouted prior to their day.
We began of course at the Old Police Barracks, before heading to the Adelaide railway station, then North terrace for Bonython hall and a bit of scooting about – then made our way towards the Prohibition Liquor Co where they were to have their reception – but not before also have a photo inside another local bar and some parks throughout the city.
Time got away from us rather quickly so we had to cut some spots on the list of photo spots on the fly – which I dont think was a huge issue consideirng the variety of backdrops we had already achieved.

It was an incredibly sunny day for Bronwyn and Dayne’s StFrancis Winery wedding in late November!
Their day was full of fun filled hijinks curtesy of their bridal party and plenty of naughty water refreshments all throughout the day.
Their day was a bunch of fun to be a part of, so lets jump right into it!
Preparation
Bronwyn and Dayne were obviously up for a party right from the get go, with their respective entourages keen to have a bit of fun during their preparations! Dayne and his boys made sure to keep most of their body parts within their pants all morning, while we also made sure their delightful fur babies made it into plenty of their photos.

StFrancis Winery Wedding Ceremony
Bronwyn and her bridal party arrived at their StFrancis Winery wedding ceremony via large hummer limo, and directly after had a bit of a ‘first look’ with Bronwyn’s family – which is always nice to see.
Their wedding ceremony was delayed a little bit due to guests being a little late, but bronwyn and her bridesmaids made the most of their time having a smoke and chilling under the shade, while Dayne and his boys also made sure to find some shade while having photos done with family and friends.
Dayne was in good spirits all day, being sure to make it known with huge emotive smile and laughter, while Bronwyn was a little more reserved. The ceremony itself was a nice, simple affair – being as short as possible so that the party could continue unabated!

We diddn;t spend too long out and about for glamour photos – the main goal of the day for Bronwyn and Dayne was to spend as much time with their friends and family as possible! before their limo hire ended, I did however managed to get them out to the nearby bike track which has magnificent arching trees overhead. I made use of this space the most for their glamour photos – while I also snagged a few shots around St Francis Winery in between drinks.
I made use of the extra time by taking some portraits of other couples and also had family photos done whenever I could. It was such a laid back day that it wasn’t overly pressing to have any photos taken.

StFrancis Winery Wedding Reception
Bronwyn and Dayne’s StFrancis winery wedding reception was immaculately set up in the most beautiful way, with blue lighting and white floral arrangements as far as the eye could see! Their DJ had the smoke machine going during the first dance and made for a great party atmosphere.
Towards the end of the night, I managed to coax Bronwyn and Dayne out to the awesome lit weeping willows that lines the St Francis winery pond – which the boys were threatening jumping into all night. If they did I must have left too early to see it! Would have been a greast photo 🙂

Stephanie and Ben’s Ingle Wood Inn wedding was held on a beautiful day late November. The weather wasn’t hot, nor cold and the clouds stayed at just the right times and left at others – it really was quite a stunning day to be a part of!
As a wedding venue, the Inglewood Inn is one of my favourite spots to head to. It boasts a surprisingly diverse set of photo opportunities while still being quite a private and intimate spot for some spectatular wedding ceremonies – particularly during the summer!
Preparation
I started the say with Ben and his family being prepared at a nearby house on a lovely quiet street which we made use of with Ben’s brother’s little motorcycle which he seemd pretty proud of!
The preparation was nice and laid back with Ben’s mother and father stepping in occasionally to help with ties and pinning flowers on lapels. If Ben was nervous – he was hiding it well!

Stephanie was being prepared at the couple’s house – also nearby and the first thing I did when arriving was to convince Stephanie to hang her dress up int he small forested area right out he front of their house. Thankfully she let me without much fuss, as it was a stunning spot to make use of for a hanging dress photo!
Stephanie and her bridesmaid also had a bit of fun with a bottle of champaigne before doing a bit of a reveal to Dad who had not seen the dress on Stephanie until that morning. It’s always lovely to see!

Ingle wood Inn Wedding Ceremony
Stephanie and Ben’s Ingle Wood Inn Wedding ceremony took place on the grassy area before the Inn building – where it’s usually held, but perhaps slightly to the right of where it’s often set up. This allowed for the forested area to be the backdrop behind their modern hexagonal arbour which looked quite stunning!
The ceremony began with Ben looking away from where Stephanie was entering, allowing for a proper ‘first look’ as she walked down the aisle as he turned around. Then continued with anecdotes of ther relationship until that point and culminated with a simple exchanging of rings and first kiss.

Stephanie and Ben’s Ingle wood inn wedding was an absolute blast to photograph. The weather was overcast – but not cold, and the sun shone through the clouds just at the right times in order to best use it’s presence felt in their photographs!
Directly after their ceremony, and after the big group shot which we took with their bridal car before it left we made use of the oldest bridge still in use in South Australia – Gollop’s Bridge. It’s a mainstay of photos at any Ingle wood Inn wedding, and we certainly made the most of it with Stephanie’s awesome long veil hanging over the ledge!
We also made good use of the greenery and running creek situated behind the wedding ceremony location so some stunning shots as the sun dipped lower and lower.

It was common up until recently to have access to a little ruined cottage just up the road a bit from Inglewood Inn as a backdrop for photos, but the owner no longer allows it’s use for that so we had to travel a little further up the road. Thankfully Stephanie and Ben were quite adventurous and were keen to climb a bit of a hill to get a neat shot of them on a cliff with Inglewood Inn in the background.
While climbing down however I manged to slip and fall on my main camera :/ oh well that’s what insurance is for!
Later in the evening we also head back out to Gallop Bridge in the dark to make use of some smoke in a can and lights!
