The Belair National Park in the Adelaide Hills, is a gem for engagement photography, and it was the perfect setting for Emily and James’ special shoot. Emily and James, a delightful couple, were briefly in town and seized the opportunity for their engagement session amidst Adelaide’s unpredictable weather. Fortunately, the sun decided to grace us, offering a radiant backdrop for their photos.

Engagement Shoot

Moving deeper into the heart of Belair National Park, the scenery transformed into a sun-drenched forest, setting a magical stage for Emily and James’ engagement shoot. Fun with a Vintage Box Brownie

Adding a twist to the shoot, I introduced a vintage Box Brownie camera from my collection. This 70-year-old camera wasn’t just a prop; it was a bridge connecting the past and present. Emily and James were fascinated by its history and charm, and it brought a unique flavor to their engagement session. The Box Brownie symbolized the timelessness of love, much like their own story.

Using the Box Brownie, we experimented with different poses and angles, creating a fun, playful atmosphere. It was delightful to see Emily and James interact with the camera, their curiosity and joy adding an extra layer of authenticity to the shoot. This old camera, a witness to many love stories before theirs, now played a part in capturing their beautiful journey.
