On a sunny mid-April day, the lovebirds exchanged their vows in a ceremony that perfectly captured their personalities and love for each other. The journey of their special day started at the Adelaide Sofitel hotel, where both Karen and Luke were getting ready in separate rooms. However, tradition didn’t keep them apart; they frequently moved between rooms, sharing smiles and excitement.

The St Ignatius Church wedding in Norwood was a full Catholic mass that included simple yet meaningful vows, a touching homily, and the invitation for guests to take communion. St Ignatius Church, known for its stunning architecture and rich history, provided a beautiful backdrop for their sacred ceremony. As Karen and Luke exchanged vows, the sun filtered through the church’s stained glass windows, casting a warm glow over the couple and their guests. From Botanic Park, we journeyed to The Lane Vineyard in Hahndorf, where more photo opportunities awaited. Our primary spot was the boatshed, set against a serene pond surrounded by Australian bush. The setting sun cast a golden glow, making for some breathtaking shots.

Karen and Luke’s joy was palpable as they walked around by the pond. The tranquil water and the natural bushland provided a picturesque backdrop that highlighted their love and connection. The soft sunlight filtering through the trees added a touch of magic, making the photos look almost ethereal. The Lane Vineyard Wedding Reception

The wedding reception took place at The Lane Vineyard’s cellar door, a cozy and intimate venue that perfectly suited Karen and Luke’s style. The reception was a blend of elegance and personal touches, reflecting the couple’s frequent visits to the winery for its amazing food. The staff went above and beyond, preparing a special plate of caviar and other delicacies for the couple.

As the sun set, the celebration continued on the deck, where guests enjoyed the stunning views and the festive atmosphere. The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, a fun game of heads and tails with the winner receiving a bottle of wine, and, of course, dancing. Karen and Luke even finished filming each other with our vintage Super8 video camera, capturing candid moments that will be cherished forever.

A highlight of the evening was our photobooth setup, which provided endless entertainment for the guests. Equipped with a variety of fun props and backdrops, the photobooth became a hotspot of laughter and creativity. Guests took turns snapping whimsical and candid shots, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere. The photobooth photos, filled with smiles and playful poses, were a hit, giving everyone a delightful keepsake from the evening.

The reception was not just a celebration of Karen and Luke’s love but also a gathering of family and friends who shared in their joy. Magnetic Island Photoshoot

As the sun began its descent, casting a warm golden glow across the landscape, Kerri and Tony’s chemistry, and silliness truly shone. The sunset at Picnic Bay was nothing short of spectacular, painting the sky in hues of pink, orange, and purple. Following the ceremony, we took advantage of the stunning surroundings for some glamour photos. The Old School House area is a photographer’s dream, with its mix of rustic buildings, lush greenery, and the ever-changing light filtering through the trees. We wandered through the grove, capturing the beautiful interplay of light and shadows created by the autumn leaves.

One of my favorite parts of the day was shooting among the pine trees in Mt Crawford. These tall, straight trees create a dramatic and almost surreal atmosphere, making for some truly striking photos. The bridal party was in high spirits, and their laughter and smiles added a wonderful energy to the session. We made sure to keep things light-hearted and fun, ensuring everyone felt relaxed and enjoyed the moment.

Gumeracha reception

After the glamour photos, we headed to Gumeracha for the reception. The private property chosen for this part of the celebration was nothing short of spectacular. The centerpiece was a delightful rustic old barn with a massive wooden door that made for some fantastic photo opportunities. The barn’s weathered textures and warm tones provided a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for an intimate and joyous celebration.

The reception itself was a feast for the senses. Kara and Patrick decided to go with a gourmet toastie bar, a unique and delicious choice that was a hit with all the guests. The variety of flavors and the comforting warmth of the toasties added a fun and casual element to the evening. As the sun set, the barn was lit up with fairy lights, creating a magical ambiance that set the stage for heartfelt speeches, laughter, and dancing.

The Manor Wedding -Tracey & Kaeden

Tracey and Kaeden’s wedding at The Manor Basket Range was nothing short of enchanting. Set against the backdrop of the beautiful Adelaide Hills, their special day was filled with joy, laughter, and a touch of magic. It was a delightful midweek day in April, where the grounds were painted with the rich, warm hues of autumn. The Manor’s historic charm and stunning gardens provided the perfect setting for this unforgettable celebration of love.

We arrived a bit earlier than planned, even though we were initially asked to start at the ceremony. The opportunity to capture some pre-ceremony moments with Tracey and her bridal party was too good to pass up. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and anticipation as Tracey and her closest friends prepared for the big day. The bridal suite was a flurry of activity, with hair, makeup, and laughter filling the air. Tracey’s radiant smile and the twinkle in her eyes spoke volumes about her happiness.

Pre-Ceremony

The pre-ceremony moments are always a favorite to capture. There’s something truly special about the bride and her bridesmaids sharing these last few hours before the wedding. Tracey’s bridal party was a lively bunch, their joy infectious as they helped her into her exquisite gown. The dress, a long lacey affair, glistened in the soft light of the room. It was a beautiful sight to behold, with delicate details that made it a masterpiece.

Tracey’s mother and bridesmaids couldn’t hold back their tears as they saw her fully dressed for the first time. These intimate, emotional moments are what make wedding photography so rewarding! We managed to top things off with involving Dad for a bit for a lovely first look!

The Manor Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony took place in front of The Manor’s charming little chapel, a picturesque spot that seems straight out of a fairy tale. As the guests settled into their seats, an air of anticipation filled the venue. Kaeden stood at the altar, his excitement palpable. The moment he saw Tracey approach, his joy was unmistakable. He was practically bouncing on the balls of his feet, his grin wide enough to rival any Dr. Seuss character.

Tracey walked down the aisle with grace and poise, her dress shimmering in the sunlight. The couple’s heartfelt vows were a highlight, filled with emotion and sincerity. Readings from their parents added a personal touch to the ceremony, making it all the more meaningful. The look of love and devotion in Tracey and Kaeden’s eyes was enough to bring tears to many of the guests’ eyes. It was a beautiful, moving ceremony that perfectly reflected their love story.

Glamour Photos

After the ceremony, we ventured into The Manor’s lush gardens for the glamour photos. The autumn light filtering through the leaves created a magical atmosphere, perfect for capturing the newlyweds in all their glory. The gardens provided a stunning backdrop, with vibrant colors and charming pathways that added a touch of romance to each shot. Tracey and Kaeden were naturals in front of the camera, their love and happiness shining through in every frame.

We also took advantage of The Manor’s iconic castle keep, using it as a backdrop both during the daylight and at night. The dramatic architecture and the play of light and shadow created some truly breathtaking images. As the sun set and the stars came out, the castle keep took on a whole new level of enchantment. The night shots, with the couple silhouetted against the illuminated keep, were nothing short of spectacular. These photos will undoubtedly be cherished for years to come.

The Manor Wedding Reception

The reception took place in the grand hall upstairs, a space that exuded elegance and charm. The room was beautifully decorated, with twinkling fairy lights and stunning floral arrangements that added to the romantic ambiance. Tracey and Kaeden’s entrance was met with cheers and applause from their guests, who were eager to celebrate this joyous occasion.

One of the highlights of the evening was the couple’s first dance. Tracey and Kaeden had choreographed a dance to a number of popular songs, and their performance was a hit. Tracey had changed into her grandmother’s wedding dress for the occasion, a touching tribute that left everyone in awe. The dress was a timeless piece, and Tracey looked absolutely stunning in it.
